The method
How an external RSPP appointment works.
Four phases, not a document: what really happens when a company entrusts us with the role, from first contact to advice that stays over time.
- 01
Needs analysis
First contact and a reading of the company: size, ATECO sector, headcount, sites, known risks. This produces the scope of the appointment, not a sealed quote.
What you take away
Scope of the appointment and a tailored quote, after the analysis and not before.
Indicative timelines
First contact and analysis: a few working days.
- 02
Site visit and appointment
On-site visit and formalisation of the role with a written appointment in line with arts. 17 and 34. The appointment sets duties, limits and mutual obligations.
What you take away
Written appointment in line with arts. 17 and 34, with duties and limits defined.
Indicative timelines
Appointment and start of work: typically 1–2 weeks, faster if urgent.
- 03
DVR and documentation
Drafting of the Risk Assessment Document to INAIL guidelines: present risks, prevention measures already in place, programme of actions. It is the document everything else is then measured against.
What you take away
Risk Assessment Document with the improvement action programme.
- 04
Ongoing advice
DVR updates, coordination with the occupational physician and RLS, support during ASL, Fire Brigade and INAIL inspections. Safety does not end when a file is delivered.
What you take away
A DVR kept current, assistance during inspections and a stable counterpart.
