The appointment

Safety is not a document: it is a system. RSPP appointment, risk assessment and DVR for companies of every size, nationwide.
The service, in brief
Gruppo FN takes the external RSPP appointment and covers the full perimeter of duties, from the written appointment to advice that stays over time.

Continuity

Coordination
Gruppo FN takes the external RSPP appointment and stays with the company: risk assessment, DVR, training coordination and presence during inspections. Not a document delivered once, but oversight that lasts.

Legislative Decree 81/2008 requires every employer to appoint a Head of the Prevention and Protection Service. It is not a formality: it is the figure accountable for how risks are identified, measured and reduced.
When covering the role internally is not possible or not worthwhile, an external RSPP is the path the law provides. But delegating the appointment is not enough: you need someone who enters the company, looks at real processes and stays over time.
D.Lgs. 81/2008
Arts. 17 and 34 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 — the employer appoints the RSPP; the role may be external when no employee with the required credentials can be designated.

The appointment is not enough
You need someone who stays.

Who is behind it
Gruppo FN
Workplace safety is one of the practices of Gruppo FN, a limited-liability company based in Rome. Behind the appointment there is not a lone professional: there is a company that answers with its own legal name.
01 / 09
The practice you are in: RSPP appointment, DVR and risk assessment.

The method
01 — Phase 1 of 4
First contact and a reading of the company: size, ATECO sector, headcount, sites, known risks. This produces the scope of the appointment, not a sealed quote.

02 — Phase 2 of 4
On-site visit and formalisation of the role with a written appointment in line with arts. 17 and 34. The appointment sets duties, limits and mutual obligations.

03 — Phase 3 of 4
Drafting of the Risk Assessment Document to INAIL guidelines: present risks, prevention measures already in place, programme of actions. It is the document everything else is then measured against.

04 — Phase 4 of 4
DVR updates, coordination with the occupational physician and RLS, support during ASL, Fire Brigade and INAIL inspections. Safety does not end when a file is delivered.

Services
01 — Service 1 of 6
Formal assumption of the role with a written appointment by the employer, in line with arts. 17 and 34 of Legislative Decree 81/2008. Professionals holding modules A, B and C, with mandatory refresher training kept current.
02 — Service 2 of 6
Risk Assessment Document drawn up to INAIL guidelines, with identified risks, prevention and protection measures and an action programme. Updated when the company changes.
03 — Service 3 of 6
Assessment of all risks to workers’ health and safety — chemical, physical, ergonomic, work-related stress — with shared, documented methods.
04 — Service 4 of 6
Presence and assistance during inspections by ASL, the Fire Brigade, INAIL and other authorities: document pack, meetings, and an action plan for any prescriptions.
05 — Service 5 of 6
Continuous oversight of duties and regulatory updates, with a stable counterpart to call when something changes in the company.
06 — Service 6 of 6
Coordination with the occupational physician, RLS, employer and the other figures in the prevention system, so it works as a system rather than a stack of separate duties.
Foreign companies
Sectors
Less visible risks, and for that reason often underestimated: display screens, workstation ergonomics, work-related stress, emergency management and escape routes.
Typical risks
Manual handling, racking, extended hours and staff turnover: training has to stay aligned with who joins and who leaves.
Typical risks
Machines, tools, noise, substances and compact workspaces. Small firms with full duties, where an external RSPP is often the only practical path.
Typical risks
Biological and chemical risk, patient handling, night shifts and close coordination with the occupational physician. The sector Gruppo FN has worked in longest.
Typical risks
Plant, production lines, physical and chemical agents, contracting and interference. More articulated assessments and periodic site visits as part of the method.

The choice
01
Legislative Decree 81/2008 requires every employer to appoint an RSPP. It is not a choice: it is a condition for operating. The external appointment is the path the law provides when nobody in-house has the required credentials.
02
A DVR delivered and filed protects no one. The external appointment is worth it when the person who takes it comes back, updates the documents and is present on inspection day.
03
Modules A, B and C, mandatory refreshers to maintain, coordination with the occupational physician and RLS. Delegating the appointment means not having to run all of that internally.
A correct DVR is worth little if the people at work do not know what to do. Gruppo FN does not run courses: what the RSPP appointment covers is knowing who must be trained, on what and by when, and keeping the expiry register aligned. Delivery stays with those who train for a living.
Where we work
The operational office is at Via Po 102 in Rome. The RSPP service is delivered across Italy, with periodic site visits at the client’s premises. These are the areas with a dedicated page.
The RSPP (Head of the Prevention and Protection Service) is the figure the employer must appoint for workplace safety (Legislative Decree 81/2008). An external RSPP is a professional from an outside firm, chosen when the company does not cover the role internally or prefers to delegate to specialists.
Appointment and assumption of the role, drafting and updating of the DVR, risk assessment, support during ASL and Fire Brigade inspections, coordination with the occupational physician and RLS, regulatory updates and ongoing advice.
The operational office is in Rome, at Via Po 102, but the RSPP service is delivered nationwide, with dedicated pages for the areas where we work most often.
After the first contact a site visit is usually scheduled within a few working days; appointment and start of work depend on company complexity, typically 1–2 weeks, faster if urgent.
The quote depends on company size, headcount, ATECO sector, risks and sites. We offer tailored, transparent quotes, with no obligation, after a preliminary analysis.
We support the organisation in preparing documents, being on site when agreed, and drawing up the action plan for any prescriptions received.
